LOS ANGELES HOSPICE provides
intensive treatment of symptoms.
This palliative care focuses on enhancing a patient’s comfort and overall
quality of life and is provided in the patient’s home, a nursing home, or a
hospital. Los Angeles Hospice services are
available 24 hours a day, seven days a week or on an intermittent basis and
include:

Skilled nurses, who are trained specifically to deal
with pain and symptom management

Social workers, to offer counseling, and as
resources for community services
·
Certified Home Health Aides & Homemakers
·
Chaplains to provide spiritual support if needed
·
Volunteers, to provide assistance, through visits,
